About the artist... Robin Hages resides in Lexington Heights, Michigan. He attended Western Michigan University and the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and embarked on the mission to build his own glass studio upon graduation. In 2004, Spun Gallery opened its doors, where Robin offers glass blowing classes and demonstrations. Additionally, a multi-media art gallery was established, as well as Patio Pastries, Bakery & Gourmet To-Go Foods. Robin has won several “Best in Show” awards at Michigan Art Fairs and many other honors over the years. His work is displayed at several galleries across the state including: Detroit Artists Market, Lansing Art Gallery, Water Street Gallery in Saugatuck, and Next Step Studios in Ferndale, to name a few. For the third year in a row, Robin has exhibited at the critically acclaimed International Sculpture Objects & Functional Art Fair (SOFA) in Chicago.
